CM4-Pro: AVoIP Encoder and Decoder
The CM4-Pro is designed to transport audio and video feeds over the network with its built-in AVoIP Encoder and Decoder functionality.
Modes of Operation:
- Encoder Mode: For sending video feeds, the device needs to be set to Encoder mode.
- Decoder Mode: By default, the device is set to Decoder mode. In this mode, it outputs the video feed through the on-board full-size HDMI port.
Input Options:
- The device can accept a USB-A input feed for transmission over the network.
- For cameras equipped with SDI or HDMI outputs, a USB capture card (not included) is required to convert the feed to USB-A.
Output Options:
- In Decoder mode, the video feed is outputted via the full-size HDMI port located on the device.
Configuration Settings:
- To adjust settings, access the device's web-server and navigate to the Video tab.
- The default access credentials for the control page are username 'admin', and the password is the device's serial number.
USB Input:
- The CM4-Pro supports USB input for easy connection and transmission of video feeds over the network.
